TINEX design and develop both mechanical interface components and replacement/new safety electronics, in addition to system design.
As a part of the systems design, we offer mechanical and electronically engineering, documentation and training. From design to prototype, the assembly and manufacturing processes are thoroughly understood and documented in order to produce the final mechanical assembly. When final design is approved for production, we have a short lead time for delivery.
TINEX sub-contract mechanical production of own developments to pre-qualified partners. Prototype production is made in house.
TINEX uses the latest CAD software on design and development.
Our latest design, development and production, is a safety system for Tram and Subway, with components both in the infrastructure and on-board the trains. Our modular Automatic Train Protection System (ATP), Hugin Cab Signal System (HCSS), can be installed and adapted to customer’s requirements. ATP is a train safety system for identifying and reacting to potential hazardous conditions. TINEX has delivered our system to Sporveiene og Trikken for SL95 and the service vehicles in Norway.
